Today we are Showcasing:
Theresa Momber's
Peace & Joy
This was the first card I created with Theresa's set.
I used Kraft & Dark Choc. Pure Luxury Card Stock.
PP from The Simple Things patterned paper pack.
Stamped & fussy cute out the bird after coloring with
Spectrum Noir Markers & Pencils. For the background
I used the sentiments and a holly image and stamped in
Dk. Choc. ink and then I would stamp it again so some
would be lighter. Sentiment is stamped in Dk. Choc. Ink.
I also used DK. Choc. Twine. Added bling & a Snow flake.
*******
Next I used Faded Brick, White, Black Onyx, &
Kraft Pure Luxury Card Stock. I wanted a wood looking
background. I used Kraft Paper and scored the lines then
used Inks in Faded Brick, Dk. Choc., & White. I
dry embossed a piece of velum & added the Black & White Twine
from Gina K Designs. Using the dies to create a
circle in Black Onyx & inverted scallop in Kraft
I stamped the Pinecone image and colored with Spectrum Noir
Markers, added some snow & bling.

Seriously, WOW. I love the nature feel to both of these cards. Great layouts and layering. Awesome stamping and coloring. I have got some pinning to do.

Very creative making your own background. Love the mix of media. Wonderful card. Oh, btw, I can tell you do the inside of your cards as well. This does not get by me. Every time I give a card, the recipient opens it to see what is inside. Kind of an odd feeling for me (the cardmaker) when there isn't anything.

Unknown said...

Such interesting cards. You really made good use of the entire card and did a great job of fussy cutting the image.
