Well, the cat is out of the bag. I just want to let everyone know that Gina K. has picked Tricia Traxler and MySelf to be apart of Her Design Team.  She has also introduced a new spectrum noir color artist to join the team, and her name is Kendra Wietstock.   I am so thrilled, honored, and most gracious for this opportunity to be apart of something so wonderful. Cards for Two Challenges :

Good Evening,
I had a little time today to finish up a card and to make another.  I really enjoyed getting to play for a bit.

Over at Mod Squad Challenge Blog there is a Challenge to create a card using the triple layer technique. My friend Judy is Hosting this week. She has created two wonderful cards for this challenge. This is the one I came up with.

I used Gina K Designs Black Onyx, Kraft, & Turquoise Sea pure luxury card stock. I stamped the flower from Gina's stamp set "Especially For You" and embossed in white powder. The sentiment is stamped in Gina K Designs Black ink, & the flowers are colored with White and Turquoise Sea. The plaid ribbon is from Gina K Designs also. Finished with some pearls.

This flower stamp is a really good size for doing this technique.. I received it free with a purchase… It will also be for sale next month as a Duo. Flower + Sentiment

Next I made a card for the Challenge at StampTV. Laurie's Make It Pop With Black.
I used another set that I really like. At Gina K Designs you can get this set by Rupa Shevde
Flowers Bloom:

On this card I used Gina K Designs pure luxury card stock (heavy weight) Ivory, Black Onyx,& Just Peachy. Ink & ribbon is GKD in Black. The focal image is from the stamp set " Flowers Bloom" by Rupa Shevede, and the dashes are from " Lots of Letters 2 " by Melanie Muenchinger @ GKD. I added some black dots. And embossed the background with a cuttle bug folder.
I really like this Just Peachy color with the Black.
Hope you all have a great night.  I'm off the do Grandma stuff.  LOL  :)

My First Post !!!

Good Morning ,
This will be my first post of many. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  :)

I am hosting over at the Mod Squad Challenge Blog. I was inspired by a wonderful card maker and new friend Judy Woodland. Judy Woodland,  Nancy Leppek & I were picked for the April Guest Design Team at Gina K Designs - StampTV. Both of these Ladies are fabulous designers. What a pleasure it has been working along side of them, not to mention to get the chance to create and design cards with the wonderful sets that the illustrators created, and the so talented Design Team.  It truly has been a wonderful Journey.  Ok, now these are the cards that I made for the challenge.

First the Challenge was to create a card using a image that one would use to make a masculine card, but make it feminine…

I Love My Gina K Design products, so everything I use is GKD, Pure Luxury Card Stock, Inks, & ribbons.
***If I do not use GKD I will make a note of this in the description.***

On this card I used Kraft, Innocent Pink, & White card stock. The Image is from a set by Theresa Momber "Country Roads". I used Navy Ink to create the color around the truck and to stamp the sentiment. I also used Innocent Pink ink on some grass and flower at the bottom of the sentiment. You probably can't seen it to well, it is very light. I colored that awesome truck in copic markers. I also used spellbinders dies for the oval and the pretty frame thing, added some bling.

This is the second card for that challenge. I used another set by Theresa Momber "Follow Your Dreams". I used Warm Cocoa, Black Onyx, and White card stock, I also used a piece of DP from my stash. I liked the dots. The inks I used were Sweet Corn, Sweet Mango, Innocent Pink, Ocean Mist, Black & Warm Cocoa. Colored the boat, water and grass under the boat, and the dragon flies in copic's.
Added some ribbon and dots.

I hope you like them and have a great day.  :)

THANKS SO MUCH for checking out my new blog and I really do appreciate your comments. See you again soon.
