Cards for Two Challenges :

Good Evening,
I had a little time today to finish up a card and to make another.  I really enjoyed getting to play for a bit.

Over at Mod Squad Challenge Blog there is a Challenge to create a card using the triple layer technique. My friend Judy is Hosting this week. She has created two wonderful cards for this challenge. This is the one I came up with.

I used Gina K Designs Black Onyx, Kraft, & Turquoise Sea pure luxury card stock. I stamped the flower from Gina's stamp set "Especially For You" and embossed in white powder. The sentiment is stamped in Gina K Designs Black ink, & the flowers are colored with White and Turquoise Sea. The plaid ribbon is from Gina K Designs also. Finished with some pearls.

This flower stamp is a really good size for doing this technique.. I received it free with a purchase… It will also be for sale next month as a Duo. Flower + Sentiment

Next I made a card for the Challenge at StampTV. Laurie's Make It Pop With Black.
I used another set that I really like. At Gina K Designs you can get this set by Rupa Shevde
Flowers Bloom:

On this card I used Gina K Designs pure luxury card stock (heavy weight) Ivory, Black Onyx,& Just Peachy. Ink & ribbon is GKD in Black. The focal image is from the stamp set " Flowers Bloom" by Rupa Shevede, and the dashes are from " Lots of Letters 2 " by Melanie Muenchinger @ GKD. I added some black dots. And embossed the background with a cuttle bug folder.
I really like this Just Peachy color with the Black.
Hope you all have a great night.  I'm off the do Grandma stuff.  LOL  :)

This is just an awesome take on the challenge. Love that you used the white and then the blue ink! Very, very striking. And the kraft is just the perfect thing with these colors. Absolutely beautiful - thanks so much for playing along with me this week. Well done my dear!!
